Syllabus Design
The first thing a student may see when s/he expresses interest in your course is your syllabus and website. Including a clear statement on the scholarly standards in your field, your collaboration policy, and your late-assignment/extension policy will go a long way to avoiding issues later. In addition, students have told us that they very much appreciate statements about your personal teaching philosophy and course goals.
